MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Membership is for one year starting 1 April. Membership fees will be prorated for people/organisations who join part way through a year.

The NZRSB has developed various membership categories to ensure the entire supply chain and stakeholders across the industry are well represented. Each category attracts a different membership fee to make it as accessible as possible to everyone in the supply chain.

PRODUCER MEMBER

Any person/farming entity who is and remains a commercial grower of cattle in New Zealand.

PRODUCER MEMBER - ASSURED

Any person or farming entity who is and remains a commercial grower of cattle in New Zealand under any beef assurance programme. First year membership is free and equivalent to an Associate Membership.

RETAIL OR FOOD SERVICE MEMBER

Any person/organisation who is and remains a retail or food service seller of New Zealand beef.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Any person/organisation who does not align with one of the above categories. Associate Members have 1/10 voting weight of a full member.

PROCESSOR MEMBER

Any person/organisation who is and remains a processor of New Zealand cattle.

CIVIL SOCIETY MEMBER

Any person/organisation who is and remains an academic institution or a non-government and non-commercial institution that has an interest in the production and/or sale of New Zealand cattle.

ALLIED SERVICE MEMBER

Any person/organisation who provides services to a Producer, Processor and/or a Retail or Food Services Member which services have a direct impact on the production, processing or consumption of New Zealand cattle.

OBSERVER

Any person or group may initially apply for non-member Observer status to learn and engage with the Roundtable. It is expected Observers work towards becoming participant members within a year.
